Fields created in forms, which are not matched with custom or default fields within RD Station Marketing, are called conversion data.
To access this information, simply click Engage > Lead Base. Choose a lead and, in Lead Activities, click Display details:
If no custom field has been created in RD Station Marketing, this information will not be transferred to Lead data, which contains data that is automatically indexed in the Lead's profile as a result of default fields in RD Station Marketing. For example, name, email and source.
You can create segmentations based on both conversion data and Lead data.
A segmentation that uses conversion data to filter Leads will perform a search of all existing conversions or of a specific conversion.
A segmentation that uses Lead data to filter Leads will search the most recent information of the Lead in a given field (either a default or custom field). See the example below:
- If you want to find all Leads that, for any conversion event, filled in the Job title field with director, then you must use the Conversion Data category:
- If you want to find all Leads who responded—during their last conversion—that their job title is director, then you must use the Lead Data category:
