On the Facebook Ads homepage, you will find a list containing all of your ads and their respective metrics. You are able to see metrics for active ads (following at least 1 hour of publication) as well as completed ones.
Impressions
Number of times your ad has been shown in the news feed of anyone in your potential target audience.
Reach
Number of people who have seen your ad at least once.
Clicks
Number of clicks your ad has received. Multiple clicks from the same user are also counted.
Click-through rate (CTR)
Number of clicks divided by the number of impressions. Of the total number of times your ad was displayed in the news feed, CTR is the percentage of times it was clicked.
Amount spent to date
How much of your budget has already been spent since your ad was first published.
Relevance score
A relevance score is given to your ad based on the public's interaction with it. Your ads receive a score from 1 to 10 (10 being the most relevant).
The higher the score, the greater the chance of your ad performing well.
Facebook Analytics tips
- When the click-through rate is very low, you should consider improving the text or image in your ad, or revise the target audience, which may be unsuitable for your offer.
- If your ad relevance score is below 6, you should consider improving your offer. Then, revise your target audience and, finally, improve the text or image in your ad.
