You can monitor the visits of your leads using the Lead Tracking feature. To do so, please confirm that you have followed the two steps below:
1. Is your site integrated with the RD Station Marketing Lead base?
To verify this, perform a test by carrying out a conversion via any form on your site (using your email) and check the lead base to see if the conversion was recorded.
2. Is the Tracking Code properly installed?
To verify installation of the tracking code, go to the page you would like to track and press ctrl + U. A page containing the source code will open. Press ctrl + F and search for the term loader.js. The term should be found as shown in the image below:
If the page doesn't contain the code, see how to install the tracking code. Pages without the code will not be monitored.
Having completed integration and with the tracking code installed, Lead Tracking is now active. Now you just have to wait for a converted lead to navigate your site to be able to monitor their visit. As long as there are no visits from leads, you will be redirected to the tracking code installation page. The URL screen is visible only after the visit of a lead.
What does Lead Tracking record?
- Domains: example.com.
- Subdomains: subdomain.example.com.
- Directories with subdirectories: example.com/directory/new.
What does Lead Tracking not record?
It is not possible to monitor pages from sites built based on URL parameters. A parameter is everything contained in a URL after the (?) symbol: example.com/search?marketing=digital.
