Each lead interaction may result in interest points gained in Lead Scoring. In addition to defining the points of each group, you must define into which group each Landing Page, Marketing Email and Automated Workflow fits.
You can do this within the Lead Scoring feature. Simply click Add activity for each of the groups, as shown in the example below. RD Station Marketing itself will retrieve all valid scoring options for each group:
In the case of Landing Pages and Email Marketing, you can set the score within each feature by following the steps below.
Landing Page
When creating or editing your Landing Page, click on the Settings > Advanced settings tab.Then, in the Assign Lead Scoring activity option, choose which group this Landing Page belongs to:
Email Marketing
After sending the email, click on its name. In the Lead Scoring tab,you are able to determine the points group for email open and/or email click-through actions:
Workflow Automation and Workflow Automation Emails
To score when a lead begins or completes an automated workflow; or even when opening or clicking through on an automation email, you need to set the scoring for each automated workflow within the Lead Scoring feature itself, as explained at the beginning of this article.
