RD Station Marketing is conducting a controlled release of the new lead segmentation. With the new segmentation, customers will gain access to new segmentation conditions, in order to carry out campaigns that are increasingly targeted to their leads.
In this article, we detail what's new in this feature.
New Segmentation conditions
Segment by “any” page, event, email or workflow
Easily find leads that haven't visited any of your pages in a certain period of time in order to carry out re-engagement campaigns. Analyze the behavior of leads by creating lists to understand which leads are visiting a particular page or converting on a particular event.
Filter by dates
You can also combine your segmentations with actions by date: on the day, between the dates, on or before, on or after.
Improvements to the "Contains" condition
Another novelty is that we have made a correction so that the contains condition now works correctly. Using this condition, you only need to enter part of a word or phrase to find the leads that meet this condition.
The design has changed to make segmentation clearer and more intuitive.
We have revised the wording and nomenclature that was previously used to determine the type of segmentation that would be applied.
For example, instead of selecting the fields Conversion > The lead converted, now you just need to choose the option Converted or Did not convert.
Another novelty is that the conditions are now grouped by type, so it's easier to find exactly what you're looking for.
After creating your segmentation conditions, you can view a sample of the leads included in the segmentation to make sure it is correct.
If you want to know exactly how many leads are in that segmentation, just click Save & Exit, and in the list of segmentations, click the Show Leads button. Information on the number of leads in the segmentation is available in the upper right corner of the screen.
Segmentation based on conversion data
The Conversion Data condition is also available in the new Segmentation, but it has undergone some improvements.
Now, the available segmentation fields appear listed, so you no longer have to type the name of the field in the condition.
Another important change is that it is no longer possible to segment information from Integrations using the Conversion Data condition. For this you can use the new Integration condition.
Segmentation by Integration
With the new Integration condition, it is possible to segment your leads based on actions carried out in e-commerce, CRM, chat or media tools integrated with RD Station Marketing.
