After furthering our understanding on the topic of Data Protection, we found that Data Processing is a broad aim and that we can simplify the way we are registering information within RD Station Marketing.
As of April 2021, we have started the process of discontinuing Data Processing in the Data Protection features in order to provide our customers with a simpler and more cohesive experience in the process of complying with Data Protection laws.
We have been conducting this process calmly and cautiously in order to minimize impact.

What will change?
As of April 2021, Data Processing information will no longer be shown in the Lead Profile and it will also no longer be possible to add a legal basis for this purpose via Import, Marketing Automation, Integration and others. Events with this purpose will not be generated, registered or displayed in RD Station Marketing.
If you use the Data Processing condition in a Marketing Automation Workflow Segmentation, we ask that you review and remove this condition urgently. Customers who keep this condition are subject to having leads enter Segmentations and pass through Workflows after the automatic removal.
See below for the step-by-step guide to delete this condition:
- Access the tab Engage > Lead Segmentation.
- Click the Edit button next to the segmentation using the Data Processing condition.
- Click the X next to the Data Processing condition:
- Click Save and Exit.
- Repeat the process for all Segmentations using the Data Processing condition.
